The Mankind Pharma Sher-E-Punjab T20 League is Punjab’s newest professional T20 cricket League, bringing together six city-based franchises to create a new platform for cricket, talent and Punjabi pride. The inaugural season will see the state’s best emerging and established players take the field in a high-energy contest designed to bring fans closer to the game they love.
With 27 matches, including two semifinals and a grand final, the tournament is being organized by the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) and will be played entirely at the iconic I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali from 30 August to 13 September. The Punjab Cricket Association is the governing body for the development and organization of the game of cricket in the State of Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh. PCA has a long history because the state of Punjab had undergone political and geographical changes during the last 60 years most of the area of joint Punjab having gone to Pakistan.
